Veronica Thamaini - our lead in Africa - shared her story and, along with another woman, had the great honor of introducing Michelle Obama at the summit!
The Obama Summit took place in Chicago October 29th, bringing together amazing leaders from around the world, and Creative Action Institute was privileged to be invited to send two of our colleagues from Africa: our African Regional Coordinator, Veronica Thamaini, and Honest Kansiime, who is one of our mentors from the EAGLS program. Kansiime was also invited to be on a panel to share her story.
