Girls Take Education into their Own Hands 

Girls in our Sauti ya Dada at Enoti Secondary School in Arusha, Tanzania designed a project to address the problem of poor academic performance amongst girls at their school. The girls worked with a local artist to create a theater drama and paintings to bring awareness to the issue and present solutions. The final presentation served to educate the community, fellow students and teachers on the causes of poor academic performance and to rally support from parents and teachers to better support girls in their education.
