As a result of the event:

• 60% of the participants have continued to promote good practices in waste disposal and management at their homes and communities.

• 40% of the community members are now practicing good waste management practices.

• Local authorities increased the number of large trash receptacles to reduce the distance families have to travel to dispose of their waste.
