Art Medium: Mural Painting

Partner: SEKAKOH

 Location: Somakek, Cameroon

Artist: Angu Walters

The Ebo forest is the second lung of the earth after the Amazon and home to crucial wildlife species. However, population growth and human incursion have put the forest at risk. This Creative Action Practicum focused on raising awareness about forest protection, identifying ways to produce sustainable food, analyzing community food systems and production methods, as well as, promoting healthy eating habits. As part of the process, a community mural was created with the participants to promote economic development that prioritizes both a healthy forest and a healthy human population.
