About Us

Advancing Gender Equality & Climate Justice

Who We Are

Creative Action Institute catalyzes community-driven solutions that advance gender equality and build a sustainable planet. We do this because we believe that climate change and gender inequity are two of the greatest challenges of our time.

We partner with organizations worldwide to strengthen capacity, foster collaboration, and scale impact through education, leadership, and advocacy. We work primarily with women, girls, indigenous leaders, teachers and other educators. We do this through collaborations, consulting, and regional programs.

Our Approach

We design programs and curricula that:

  • integrate a popular education, learner-centered, intersectional, feminist, and rights-based philosophy; and

  • harnesses the power of experiential learning, creativity, and artistic expression.
