OUTCOMES

  • 20 female community leaders strengthened their knowledge of food security, food sovereignty, gender equality, and environmental conservation and learned to use art as a tool for promoting change

  • 2 theater skits were created about food sovereignty and gender equality   

  • 50 youth participated in a virtual event to watch the skits and learn about food sovereignty, fair use of water, climate change adaptation, and gender equality

  • 10 participants planted family food gardens  

  • 2 communities implemented beach cleaning and reforestation events

  • 14 women facilitated workshops about food security, environmental conservation, and gender equality in 5 communities using creative facilitation methodologies
